. HB & 5b pencils on paper, shading with blenders. Took me ages and it still feels kind of unfinished, but I guess I will always have that feeling 
. I deliberately dispensed with his armor and background in order to keep the contrast right. I noticed that otherwise the image wouldn't "pop" and fall flat.

I noticed that otherwise the image wouldn't "pop" and fall flat.What gave me the most troubles was his eyepiece. I simply have no idea how to draw glowing, transparent objects with pencils - tipps & tricks concerning this are very welcome!
